Our Story

Every good cup of coffee has an even better origin story

Jacked Up Jill Coffee was started by two women super passionate about coffee and desire to create a larger space for women and individuals needing some extra Fuel for the Climb.

Louanne and Jennette brought their perspectives and life experience of graphic design, education psychology. Their strong feminist perspective compelled them to bring forth the feminine in a very male dominated industry that relies heavily on women and young people to do hard labour.

Fuel For The Climb

They founded Jacked Up Jill Coffee in 2017 in Headingley Manitoba. Staying true to their original mission, they engage in the sisterhood and give back to women at every step of the coffee supply chain. Whenever available, they source coffee from women owned coffee farms and women’s collectives.

Some of the non profit organizations that they continually support are Willow Place Shelter from intimate partner violence, Ka Ni Kanichikhk; Indigenous designed programs designed by Elders, Manitoba Women in Construction, Guardian Angel Benefit, helping women facing a life-changing cancer diagnosis and more recently the Fort Gary Women’s Resource Centre.
